People often ask how I chose the name “Karma” for my company. Having been in the beauty and wellness industry for over 20 years, I’ve seen countless people give so much of themselves to others without taking time for self-care. Many come to Karma completely drained, mentally and physically, seeking a place to recharge. Our role at Karma, as I see it, goes beyond styling hair or polishing nails. It’s about providing a space for people to pause, unwind, and reconnect with themselves—whether that means relaxing, rejuvenating, meditating, or simply having someone to listen to them. Sometimes, it’s even a place to release emotions in a supportive environment. When I opened Karma, I envisioned a sanctuary free from judgment, where clients could truly feel at ease in whatever way they needed. I’m grateful to have built a team that feels like family—an incredible group with an undeniable synergy and a shared goal of creating a warm, welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Our relationships with our clients are at the heart of what we do, and my hope is that each of you feels like part of our Karma family.
